Animal-faced cauldron

Bronze ware from the Western Zhou Dynasty
Total height 40 cm, 33 cm between the two ears. Excavated from Hengshui Cemetery in Jiangxian County in 2006. The upper and lower parts of the Zengli are combined, with two upright ears, wide mouth, straight belly, animal face and split crotch feet, animal face pattern on the neck, protruding eyes, and cloud-thunder pattern on the body. The feet are decorated with ox-horn animal face patterns, and the inner wall of the vessel has the inscription "Zuo Bao Yi".
