Ding is an important food vessel among the bronze vessels of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. The mouth of this Ding is peach-shaped, slightly retracted, with a flat folded edge, two ears standing on the folded edge, a deep belly, and three column feet. The upper abdomen is decorated with a circle of six groups of animal face patterns, each group of animal faces is connected by a small Kuilong, and the lower abdomen is decorated with a circle of banana leaf patterns. The overall decoration is based on cloud and thunder patterns, with door edges. The upper part of the foot is decorated with animal face patterns and string patterns. The belly bottom of this Ding is very thick with soot, which should be a cooking utensil commonly used by the Zhou people.
