Height 19.7 cm, mouth long diameter 12 cm, short diameter 8.6 cm. Unearthed in Erlangpo Village, Shilou County in 1956. Wine container. Shaped like two owls standing back to back. The lid is a double owl head, with round eyes, sharp beaks, and curved eyebrows. In the center of the lid is a square column button with four tops and thunder patterns. The belly is a double owl body, with a slightly retracted mouth and a drooping belly decorated with curled wing patterns. There are four claws under the body, two back to back. The lid and belly are closed, and the two owls stand back to back with their heads held high. A fine bronze ware from the late Shang Dynasty. Not only practical, but also a fine work of art.
