A chain-lid pot with coiled dragon pattern

Excavated in Zhonghuo Village, Dingxiang County in 1995

The lid is flat, with a ring button and a small mouth. The body has a square lip, a narrow neck, sloping shoulders, a round belly, a flat bottom, and a low ring foot. There is a pair of ring ears on both sides of the neck, with a beam ring on top. The handle is horizontal and straight, with both ends curved downward, and each is connected to the two ears with a four-section twist button. The lid is decorated with coiled snake patterns, the neck of the vessel is decorated with a circle of coiled dragon patterns, the body is decorated with raised rope patterns, filled with coiled dragon patterns and circle dot patterns, and the ring foot is decorated with rope patterns.
