A tripod with cow-head and double-bodied dragon patterns

Height 29.5 cm, diameter 22.5 cm. Excavated from Zhao Qing's tomb in Jinsheng Village, Taiyuan City in 1988. Steaming food vessel. Upper steamer and lower cauldron. The steamer has a folded edge, thick lip slightly outward, straight neck, lower abdomen retracted into a flat bottom, round sieve, radial sieve holes, two circles inside and outside. On both sides of the neck, there is a pair of animal-faced door heads holding rings. The neck and lower abdomen are decorated with "S"-shaped Kuifeng pattern belts. The upper abdomen has a cow head and double body coiled dragon pattern belt. The cauldron has a straight mouth, slightly bulging shoulders, narrow mouth, short neck, bulging belly, the lower half of the abdominal wall retracted into a flat bottom, and three hoof feet. There is a pair of animal-faced door heads holding rings on the shoulders. The shoulders are decorated with a circle of cow head and double body coiled dragon patterns. The steamer is placed on the cauldron, tightly fitting, very stable.
