Bronze ware from the Western Zhou Dynasty
Total height 34.5 cm, ear spacing 33 cm. Excavated from Hengshui Cemetery in Jiangxian County in 2006. Round with lid, circular handle, wide mouth, narrow neck, double animal head with hanging ears, bulging belly, ring foot, square base, hanging bell inside the base, with tongue. The lid is divided into four groups of phoenix patterns by four door edges, the handle surface is decorated with phoenix patterns, the neck is decorated with two groups of relatively long phoenix patterns, divided by animal heads, the abdomen is divided into four groups of phoenix patterns by door edges and double ears, and the four sides of the square base are decorated with relative phoenix patterns, all with cloud and thunder patterns as the background.
