Historical value: The inner wall of the vessel is cast with an inscription of 2 lines and 5 characters, "夨伯作旅鼎", and the inscription contains the character "夨", so experts conclude that it may be an artifact of the ancient 夨 State. After King Wu of Zhou destroyed the Shang Dynasty, in order to consolidate the Western Zhou regime, he divided the princes. The princes divided in Baoji included Yuguo, Sanguo, 夨 State, Weiguo, Jingguo, Guoguo, etc. The 夨 State was located in Longxian and Qianyang in the north of Baoji today.
