Western Han Dynasty "See the Sunlight" translucent mirror, bronze, Western Han Dynasty, diameter 7.9 cm, weight 66 grams. Collected in Luoyang in 1953. Now in the collection of Henan Museum.

The Western Han Dynasty "See the Sunlight" translucent mirror collected in Luoyang in 1953 has a round button in the center of the back, and the button seat is placed within the string pattern. The main decoration is the eight-curve arc pattern. The mirror inscription is: "See the Sunlight, Lovesickness Do Not Forget". There is a circle of tooth pattern on both sides of the inscription band of the mirror.

This "See the Sunlight" translucent mirror has been simply processed, ground, and polished. When exposed to sunlight or spotlights, its bright mirror surface can reflect the inscription and image on its back. This type of bronze mirror was called "translucent mirror" by the ancients, and some people abroad called it "magic mirror".
