Food vessel. The tripod is divided into two layers, the upper layer is the tripod, and the lower layer is the round plate. The tripod body stands on a round column, with square upright ears, flat folded edges, slightly inward mouth, shallow belly, no feet, a circle of string pattern around the neck, and very thick soot on the bottom of the belly. The plate belly is very shallow, with a small round bottom, three small short feet under the plate, and a round column in the middle of the plate to support the tripod body. There is an inscription of two lines and seven characters on the belly wall of the tripod: "Yu Bai (Bo) Zha (Zuo) Jing Ji Ding". The Jingji Single-Pillar Tripod with Plate is a warming vessel. Meat is placed in the tripod, and charcoal can be placed in the small plate to warm the food in the tripod. The Jingji Single-Pillar Tripod with Plate has a unique concept and novel shape, and it is the only one of its kind in the Western Zhou bronze ware.
